About Us
We have around 80 members with interests in all types of model engineering. Our society was formed in 1935 and caters for all aspects of the hobby and is affiliated to the Northern Association of Model Engineers. We have a clubhouse, ground level railway tracks and a roadway for traction engines located at Waltham Windmill in the village of Waltham, 4 miles from the centre of Grimsby.  

Club Meetings take place at 7.30pm on the third Tuesday evening of each month throughout the year in our clubhouse, Hartley Lodge, at the Waltham Windmill site new members are always welcome.

The Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month.  Volunteer members also maintain the site all day Thursday and Saturday mornings throughout the year.

We usually operate rides for the public on Sundays between the beginning of April and the end of September weather permitting.
